Sadie Hawkins is a tradition where a woman is empowered to ask someone to a dance. the origins of the tradition put the woman in the driver's seat so that they feel empowered to take charge of their own destiny.
The mission of the ywca greater newburyport is just that: to empower women and eliminate racism.
Sadie PAWKINS is a unique event created to encourage women and their dogs to walk along a two mile route and raise pledges from within the community for completing the walk.
